Summary: 4 Stars I bought this as a gift for my five year old brother, and it was great. He loves craft-like activities, and he loves ice cream. I wasn't sure he would have the attention span to play with the ball for the necessary 20 minutes, but that wasn't a problem. He and his sister had no problem keeping the ball moving for that long. He was happy to share his ice cream with the whole family. This is a great toy for active kids who like to make things. The only drawback for me was that the ingredients needed to use this were listed inside the package and I didn't want to open it before he did. I found them elsewhere in order to have everything ready for him when he opened it, and I ended up getting the wrong kind of rock salt. So he had to wait a couple of days to use it.
