This item, the HARMON GLASS CYLINDER SPRAY BOTTLE, has almost no buying information listed. There is no picture of the bottle, no mention of how much liquid the bottle holds, no mention of the bottle's size or height. If a blind person went shopping in a
brick-and-mortar store, he or she would probably get more information about this bottle, simply by feeling it! But here
on Amazon, the ONLY relevant information given is that this spray bottle is made out of glass, (yes, that IS a definite "plus" in my opinion), that it has a "stream-like" spraying action and that it's made by a company called "Harman Imports", (with which I am not otherwise familiar -- guess there's a first time for everything....)
I give it three stars because this is the mid-point between one and five stars. I have no idea whatsoever whether I'd like or dislike it --and no way at all, right now, of finding out!
This seems to be an interesting item -- and as I have need of a glass spray-bottle, it might be one that I would be interested in buying, (despite the exhorbitant shipping charge) -- if ONLY I
knew what the bottle looked like and/or at least, how much liquid
it could hold.
As of now, though -- even though there are only "four more left" -- and there does not seem to be any plans to restock them -- I will reluctantly pass this item up, and look for another item which at least will have some description to tell me what I will be getting for my money. The way this item is being displayed here, one would not only be "buying blind" -- but "buying deaf, dumb, blind, and with no tactile or olifactory benefit!" A FULLER DESCRIPTION is needed here...who knows, people might indeed buy more of these if they knew what they were buying? I have noticed that some other items -- books, etc., -- on Amazon are also lacking a description whereby a potential customer might ascertain the suitability of said item for themselves, though not able to see or feel it. Fuller descriptions will, I think, definitely mean more sales! : )
