What a piece of garbage! I regret not reading others views on this expensive "Doorstop" before purchasing..
Where do I begin????
1) The cord is so short it will not reach any outlet you have.
2) Toast (and I use the term lightly) does not come up high enough to get out without a utensil.Exactly what you are NOT supposed to do with an electrical appliance! Forget toasting English Muffins.. usless you have a death wish.
3) It only almost "toasts" one side of the bread whether you have the bagel setting on or not for there are almost a "normal" amount of heating elements on one side of each slot and almost none on the other side.
4) You have to run EVERYTHING twice if you want more than just warm bread.
I had a $9.00 toaster that lasted me for 10 years and still worked great but was an eyesore. I now have a $40.00, beautiful looking doorstop. "Old reliable" is back in service.
I WROTE THE COMPANY AND OF COURSE, THEY DID NOT RESPOND! This is the first review I have ever written like this so I am NOT a cronic complainer. I will NEVER purchase another Hamilton Beach product again.
