I bought this as a gift for my health-conscious husband about 3 months ago, but I ended up using it. It makes great juice, but as others have reported, it's a bit tedious to clean. Placing a plastic grocery bag in the pulp catch does save time. You cannot juice all of a large grapefruit or orange at once because that amount liquid overflows from the grinder area before it can get out of the drain spout. You don't notice it until you clean it and then you find the mess inside. It's not a big deal, but it can be easily avoided by grinding slowly. I don't think it's too loud. It's just as loud as my KitchenAide blender. Overall the clean up time is worth it for this juicer, especially at this price.Customer Review: Failed on the next day !! Use very cheap parts

GOOD: Easy to clean and big bucket for pulp. OK amount of juice.
BAD: 2 cups of juice on the first day and failed on the 2nd day.
I extracted 2 cups of juice on the day I recieved the Hamilton Beach 67650H. Nothing to hard for the unit,just apples and carrats. The next day, it won't turn on!!!! I held it to see what wrong, and heard some loose metals sliding around in the motor section. I finally moved the unit around enough and a METAL PIECE FELL OUT from the vent!!!! WOW now thats what I call horrible quality control or the product was made from very cheap parts.
PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR and avoid from buying this even if it has 4 stars.

This is my first juicer and I LOVE it! I never knew it could be this easy to do AND easy to clean! I had to get a replacement the first time though, because of a manufacturer defect that was causing it to leak. I let Amazon know and they were sending me a new one before I even sent the old one back! I love Amazon! The new one works great, no leaks. I am very happy with this juicer and am recommending it to relatives to promote healthier eating. Try a green lemonade- it's super healthy and tasty -- just put whatever greens you have into the juicer (kale, romaine, parsley, anything) and add a lemon to it. You can't taste any of the greens and you get most of your veggies for the day in one glass!Customer Review: Great buy for your buck!

This juicer is terrific on any hard fruits or veggies you can find! It makes great juice and it is super easy to clean. It has a nice sized opening, easy to remove parts and nice sturdy metal latches. Everything is clear so you can see the juice, pulp and what-not. This is a fantastic juice extractor unless you are looking to 'juice' leafy veggies(kale) or soft fruit (bananas)which most juicers have issue with. This juicer has so much kick it turned these types of produce into a splatter but the pulp tasted amazing. I recommend pulping your leafy veg or soft fruits in a blender then adding it to the wonderful juice you will get out of this juicer! Purchased this in January 2008 and it's worked great, producing some excellent juices, mostly carrot and apple. Does fine with softer vegies, too. The "post-nasal drip" is not an issue as we just use a 1-quart yogurt container for collecting the juice and then put another there to catch the drip. We put a plastic bag in the pulp catcher and that makes clean-up a whiz. The noise is somewhat annoying initially, but it's not on that long anyway. There is a lot of torque, though, and perhaps someday that will be lessened with a slower starting motor yet retaining its power. All in all, we're satisfied with this product. Thanks to all of you former reviewers for helping me make this purchase!
