Fast, efficient, works great. It's a bit loud but it's shaving ice, what do you expect, right?! Very sturdy and you don't have to press down or do anything but wait for the perfectly fluffy bits of ice. I love the little spinner inside that keeps the ice from clumping up near the chute. This product is great. It works perfectly with my regular cresent shaped ice cubes and it disassembles easily for cleaning. There are two settings... SNOW CONE and SLUSHIE. The SNOW CONE setting makes little chunks of ice. The SLUSHIE setting makes basically homemade snow. It even stirs your slushie if you add a liquid to it. It's a little loud but it works great and its better than the $60 ones you'll find.Customer Review: crushes then stops....

This is an OK crusher - it gets the work done at the beginning, but at a pretty slow pace.
It makes about 1/4 cup of crushed/shaved ice in approximately 10 minutes or so...so it takes awhile.
Sometimes the ice cubes will get "stuck" and nothing will come out. You'll have to dump out the ice and add some new ice cubes.
There's gotta be a better one out there...

I read the Amazon reviews before buying this product. Some said the product was great, others said it jams frequently and is very slow - so I was not sure what to expect.
I was pleasantly surprised.
1) It used ice cube from our Fridge ice maker without jamming
2) It produced shaved ice quickly
3) It was very easy to clean.
I am glad I bought it.

We just got this machine today. Very easy to disassemble and clean and even easier to use! Pour the ice in and turn the top to the right. Pick Slushy or Snow Cone Setting and plug in. That's it! I have loved snow cones since I was a child and now I can make them anytime I want! Added bonus - now I can make my icy blended coffee drinks too! I"ll be saving big bucks!
