Having suffered a number of health issues earlier in my life I have taken to taking extra care of myself come my 30's and early 40's. Taking supplements is easy but some of the products need to be mixed with water or juice, unfortunately they don't blend well - often clumping, sticking to the spoon or other utensils, and leaving unsavory lumps of undiluted product in the liquid. This personal size blender is a godsend, no lumps, easy to clean after drinking right out of the container. I don't have any use for the travel top but it is a nice feature. BTW this machine crushes ice better than my other much larger blender.Customer Review: this bitty blender has BIG power

I was so doubtful about this blender; but i needed one urgently and didn't have too much time to shop around. It's only $20 and I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". So wrong with this. It's perfect for breakfast shakes and it's really quiet. like really really quiet. And i love that you can just run a bit of water in it and a squirt of dishsoap and run it for a second and it's clean. it's tiny so it can store anywhere, but i keep it out on the counter, due to it's cuteness. I do use smaller icecubes (heart shaped thank you) but i think regular ice cubes would work ok too. no random ice chips! LOVE IT!Customer Review: Engine Burned Out Less Than 3 Months

I used this smoothie maker for blueberry smoothies (protein powder, frozen blueberries, soy milk and yorgurt) - that's it, once a day. Engine is now dead, 3 major things wrong with this machine:
1. You have to stand next to the smoothie maker and hold down the button for the smoothie maker to work (doen't work automatically)
2. Doesn't funnel the ingredients downwards into the blades (so I had to often use a spoon)
3. Cheap - less than 3 months and I have to buy another and do without my morning shake until I find a replacement
Spend your money more wisely on sonething else.

I recently decided to drink one smoothie a day as a breakfast and wanted to buy a blender. After looking at all blenders on amazon, both cheap and expensive i decided this was the best option for me and it definitely has turned out to be!
It's compact and easy to store in my small kitchen. Very easy to clean as well. To make a smoothie a day or occasionally it's perfect. I take my smoothie with me in an insulated mug but the few times i couldn't find it i took the container since it has a drink opening at the top and it was perfect, fit in my car and didn't tip.
For the price i very highly recommend it.

I bought this blender about 3 months ago, and use it 4-6 times a week to make breakfast smoothies. So far, no problems, including the leaking others talked about. I use yogurt, frozen fruit - including some that have large chunks - or milk with protein powder and frozen fruit, and so far, life is good! My model doesn't have the blender cover, but, unless I'm swishing it with soap water to clean it, there hasn't been a mess. This is well worth the money and it's great to take it with on my 50 minute commute if I'm running a little late. In fact, I'm buying more for friends for holiday gifts. Good buy!
