My wife said it was time for a new slow cooker 'cause the knob broke off the old one, and the "old one" is of the early 80's vintage.
I was surprised how quickly the item came, since I was informed it was on back order. Not only did it arrive in time for X-mas, but in plenty of time to inspect, wrap, and get under the tree.
We do quite a bit of slow cooking, considering we're a couple in our early forties. (most people think croc pots are for grannies and the bingo set) The flexibility of the three size vessels, coupled with the handsome colors, give us quality food regardless of the size or volume.
Of course there's no question of a quality product with this manufacturer. Two thumbs, and a fork waaay up.

The crock pot is great, but the claim that it doesn't take up any more room in a cabinet isn't totally true. It is very close in the base size compared to my 6 quart, but it is taller when stacked. My cabinets openings are about 10.5 inches between shelves, and it doesn't fit. My old pot is 8.5 inches tall, this one is about 11 inches. Somehow we will have to raise or lower a shelf or store one of the crocks somewhere else. I still give it 4 stars, I use a crock pot several times a week and needed the 2 quart size now that the kids have their own homes.
added in December: I've tried using this for months now, and the settings are just too hot. It boils on low, burns on high. It is going out in the trash.

Being disabled, standing at a stove and cooking is not much of an option for me. I invested in this slow cooker because the idea of just throwing a few items into one pot and letting it cook without having to stand there and babysit it appealed to me. It is simple to use and to clean and does a nice job of cooking without burning the food. The fact that there are three sizes of crocks for small, medium and large batches saves me money since I can plan for using part of a batch for a meal or two during the week and freezing the rest for future meals. I have only had the slow cooker a short time but I believe I will be using it at least once a week. I consider it a great investment and highly recommend it.Customer Review: I love it!

I've never had a slow cooker or crockpot before, and I don't know why I waited! If you're no great shakes as a cook, like me, or have a finicky husband, like me, this is for you. It's really simple to use, and the three pots are a big bonus. The two quart bowl is perfect for my husband and me alone, and the larger sizes are great for big groups or to make extra for freezing. I got a few books to start me off--I'd suggest 1,001 Best Slow-Cooker Recipes: The Only Slow-Cooker Cookbook You'll Ever Need for lots of easy to prepare, healthy recipes for just about everything. I bought this some time back and did not have an opportunity to use it until yesterday. When I really read over the paperwork and found out that the bowls could be put in the microwave to reheat my food, it solved a big problem (taking food to work for a party) since we do not have an oven and several people were bringing food. We were not sure about enough electrical outlets being available and how everything would be heated at the same time, etc. Since I could reheat my food in the product bowl in the microwave and then put it on my heating element that totally took care of MY problem. My food came out quite nice and my bowl washed even better! Very satisfied with the product.
