First Panini maker my wife and I purchased, and while it may not have the bells and whistles of more expenses ones, we are very satisfied with our purchase.
Panini's are excellent, and the Hamilton Beach one hasn't made us a bad one yet !

This panini press is great. It is simple to use & heats up fast. I was ready to cook in about 10 minutes. (Cooking time is even less). This makes delicious sandwiches and is very easy to clean. For 40 bucks.. this is a steal!Customer Review: Awesome For The Money

Very good for the money. Only drawback to it is there is no temperature control so thicker sandwiches are some times not as hot as I would like in the middle. I would still pick this over a $150 dollar model.
