Customer Review: Watch out for dents

I just receive one today. The box looks all right.
However, after I open the box, It comes with a huge dent in the front side(bad looking).
The package is bad. The instruction manual is also poor.
I put on only two wheels. Still I can not screw up the bottom piece. Just left open. Connect only one hose(cold) to my kitchen's faucet. And cramp up the drain house.
I try to wash a load. It works perfectly. I can delay and soak my clothes. It comes out very clean. The noise is not so loud. Overall, I would highly recommend this washer only if you are lucky to get a good delivery.
I will keep this washer as long as it works. Because, I am afraid to get another dent one after returning this one.

We are disappointed with this washing machine.
One of the bottom corners was bent when we received the machine and the supplied water pipes leak water. The user has to install a panel at the bottom of the machine to seal off the noise from the motor. The panel was poorly designed and when installed, leaves big gaps all around.
You supposedly could hook up this portable machine's hot and cold water pipes to any single faucet. But Haier was so stingy that it didn't even supply a $3 "Y" connector for doing this. This defeats the whole purpose of a "portable", which is the reason we bought it to supplement our full size machine in the first place.

Washing performance is poor. Even on the "Heavy" cycle, wash time is only 14 to 15 minutes. On the other hand the final "Spin" cycle is overly long running 15 minutes. On my machine in the final "Spin" the machine made a loud banging noise and when the cycle finally ended, I noticed a large outward bump on the front right side of the machine. Apparently, the tub was banging against the front of the washer. Incidentally, Haier website states that this model has no agitator which in fact it does. The only redeeming quality that I can see, is the dual nylon bag type lint fitlers which do an outstanding job. Other than that, a total waste of money.Customer Review: very good washer

My washer arrived with a dent on the side panel. But contrary to what observed by one reviewer, the dent is inward. So it could not be the washer parts that caused the damage. Anyway the dent has not concerned me much. I did saw a plastic part fall to the ground when I took the washer out of tht box but it turned out to be what's used to fasten the washer inside the box. So no problem here.
It took me a while to figure out how to connect it to my faucet. I had to first remove a metal mesh filter from the faucet using pliers. After that the connection went smoothly and the washer has been working great in the past two months or so.

Love this machine!I bought this washer after my 15 year-old Maytag broke down.After reading the reviews here, I decided to go for it.It is
more than I expected.Being in a digital age, I decided to get
this over the other model.
Light and easy to install, I was able to move the washer by
myself(as opposed to the heavy Maytag).
I connected the hoses incorrectly the first time but figured it out after awhile(red end goes into the washer)
The washer is quiet, wash my clothes clean and use a mimimum of
water.This washer would be suitable for a single person or a small family.Highly recommended!
