My wife hate beer. The smell reminds her of her dad (a perpetual drunk). Therefore getting her to drink a pint is like making her dad attend an AA meeting. One day I brought home these glasses and put one in the freezer without anything in it. When they were nice and cold, I pour in some Michelob and shaved off the excess head. I handed her a nice and cold, frosted Guinness pub glass and she drank it. She was shocked that she actually wasn't repulsed by it. That should be a good enough test for me to buy more.
The cups are well balanced and has weight to them. Not too heavy to hold and not too light so that it feels cheap.
The rims are smooth and the logo seems like they would stay on for as long as we don't break them.
