Customer Review: Better Than Non-Stick!

I didn't buy the large 18" roaster but the 8" Graniteware Covered Round Roaster, which I got at a local department store. The reason I bought this smaller round roaster was I needed it to fit in my convection oven. I also didn't want stuff splattering all over the inside of my oven, so having a lid was nice. The first thing I fell in love with was the fact that you can fit a whole chicken in this roaster. I chopped some onions up and placed them in the bottom and placed the chicken inside. I placed the lid on and stuck it in the oven and cooked it for exactly one and a half hours. The chicken came out completely cooked through, juicy and delicious. If you've cooked chicken in your oven you know how much of a mess it makes and how most times it's almost impossible to clean out the pan you've cooked it in. Well, cleaning this roaster is a sheer joy. It's better than any non-stick product I've ever used.
