I bought this mincer as a bargain-priced noodle cutter. It cuts noodles far better than mincing herbs, something I can do with a large sharp knife with more ease.
As for cutting noodles, be sure the dough has sat out a bit after rolling flat and is well-floured. The noodles will be fairly thin so make sure that's the kind of noodles you want before buying the product. If they made one with the cutting wheels farther apart, I'd buy it too.
Considering I was going to purchase a pasta maker for 50 dollars and bought this device for under 10... I'm extremely pleased and have saved money and storage space.
