The great appeal of this corkscrew is the centered point which makes it easy to center on the cork. It takes the guess-work out of where to start the screw. Although it appears to be cheaply made, we have probably pulled a hundred corks with it without failure.
This item is now at our grocery store as a "discontinued item". So I grabbed a couple more for about six dollars each.
