If you have ever in your life had to deal with sticky residue from tape or a sticker or anything, you must buy Goo Gone. If you have ever HEARD of having sticky residue from tape or anything on something, you must buy Goo Gone. You literally just wipe the Goo Gone on the residue and it comes off. No scrubbing, no picking, no rubbing alcohol and scraping with razor blades. This stuff is so awesome! I love it. I want to go stick stickers on things and peel them off just so I can use my Goo Gone and wipe it clean. It is so awesome! Plus the citrus smell is really nice.Customer Review: Does not work!

I was eager to receive the Goo Gone as I had heard wonderful reports of it from friends who used it regularaly. One of those friends opened it for me and put it on the leather shoes that had a stain on them. She tried and tried. We followed the directions again and again. It did absolutely NOTHING! A waste of time and money! Don't bother!
I would have sent it back but am not able to get to the post office land discareded the Amazon arrival box.

You know that gross sticky mess left after you peel off a price tag sometimes? This gets rid of things like that, and just other oddly sticky messes.
The problem though is that it just absolutely reeks of citrus. I know that's supposed to be a nice odor, but this is not... and if you close it and put it in a drawer or something the odor still leaks out of the cap stinking up your drawer.

I LOVE this stuff! I've been struggling with removing the remnants of labels and price tag stickers for years until someone told me about GooGone. I was skeptical until I tried it and now I wish I heard about it years ago. It seems to even take labels off paper without damaging the paper (ok, it does leave behind a little stain, but sometimes that's better than the label goo--test it first).Customer Review: Removes gum and other sticky residue

I bought this to remove some sticky stuff left behind after I removed duct tape from a metal surface. A few weeks later, I managed to get chewing gum on the floor mats of my new car.
This product easily removed the tape residue and the chewing gum from my shoes and the floor mats. It leaves behind a slight citrus (i.e. Oranges) smell, which evaporates quickly.
