Right out of the box, these looked okay, but they could definitely stand a few improvements. The hard part is putting in the pictures. The holders are just glued onto the back, and one of the ones I got was crooked, so I had to take it off and reglue it to put the picture in. Also, these claim to take 2x3" pictures, and I had to cut my 2x3" pics down significantly to make them fit. The photos aren't centered in the window on the top, either, so I was glad I had multiples to play with or they would have ended up looking kind off funny.
I've seen these elsewhere on Amazon for more than $30, and I definitely wouldn't want to pay that much for these. But they're functional enough for the price, and they made my mother happy.
