I love using straws. I use them for all cold drinks. Because I recently had my teeth whitened, I decided to drink coffee using a straw, to prevent staining from now on. I tried plastic straws and they were awful, got soft and flimsy, not to mention that I kept thinking I was putting unhealthy things in my body from the coffee heating up the straw. I searched Amazon for stainless steel ones, but because these glass straws got such glowing reviews, I purchased them instead.
WOW!
Sturdy and a joy to use. I even like the clinking sound they make when I use them in a mug. My children enjoy using them for smoothies. You do need to rinse them right away or they will be hard to get clean again. I ordered Dr. Brown cleaners for that little problem.
If you are considering these, get them! You will wonder why you used plastic straws for so long!
