I had read all the reviews of this product before I bought it. I was a little nervous but I have always heard good things about Ginsu knives. Well, I did it and I am Very Happy! The knives are Beautiful, Very Sharp and the holding block is nice. I wash them all always by hand and dry them the same way, no rust problems that way which if you don't you may have some problems as other reviewers mentioned. They go very well with my other stainless steel appliances in my kitchen. I would definately recommend them. I haven't tried cutting the beer can yet after slicing my tomatoes but I may give it a whirl. :o)Customer Review: Pretty damn good

I ordered this set of knives hoping to give my bachelor pad kitchen some much needed culinary power. The knives are great and sharp as hell. When you have bad knives, you hesitate to dice things like tomatoes and lettuce which require clean cuts. These babies blast through anything. I'm no expert on steel and which kinds rust, etc., but just sponge em off with some soap and water, wipe dry and it's done. I took a star off because the block is not *perfect*, i.e. the steak knives aren't all exactly aligned, but I don't really give a hoot. People only notice how awesome they look and how well they cut.Customer Review: Ordering a second set...

Ordered my first set back in 8/10. This is the best set of knives I've owned. Value for price is unbeatable. They are nicely balanced and feel good in your hand. The blade is full tang meaning it is encased in the handle. Don't worry about the rust -- all the best kitchen knives can get rust on them because of the higher quality carbon steel. A couple of the Ginsu steak knives in my set show faint rusting because they go through the dishwasher more often. Soon I'll clean them with a small amount of BonAmi and water and they should be as good as new. I'm ordering the second set as a Christmas present.Customer Review: Strong and Heavy

These are nice and heavy. For what you pay, this is definitely a good deal. I take good care of my dishes and wash them immediately after using them, so I haven't had any problems with rust and it has been a year now.
They have a full, wide tang so the blade is not going to be coming off.
The rivets lay perfectly level with the surface of the handle, so nothing will collect like with most cheap knives.
Perhaps these aren't the sharpest cutlery I've used (I used to sell expensive cutlery when I was younger) but as I said before. For the price, these are great and well worth it.

I love this product. The knives are Ginsu and of high quality. They are sharp and serated on both sides, please be careful. I have been using them nonstop for the last 3 weeks and they are holding up. I agree with the other reviews my knives are always hand washed and put away immediately. Never left sitting in water.
I love having the kitchen shears they really come in handy. The steak knives are my favorite. Handle and steel of the knife are very good quality. I highly recommend this product. The storage block is sturdy enough to hold the knives and not fall over.
