I am a believer that the tools are an integral part of getting the best finished product. So just like cooking, good sissors are just as important as good pans! The scissors just glide across the taffeta that I am working on: it sets my mind in a positive frame and that is all good for the sewing part!
Up until I got these scissors I was using those new fangle steel scissors, which are great to work with too; but for fabric, you cant beat the Gingher: a marriage made in 'sewing heaven'. Just so glad I bought this now. You definately get what you pay for in this product.
The online site has a lot of tips on how to take care of your scissors as well as offering a sharpening and repair service! I have not tried the latter yet, but it is good to know that there is a 'green' policy in place.
Also, the scissors came in a beautiul matted silver case - great for storing. Love it love it and the price is very competitive with other fabric stores.
