The first grill I received was damaged. Although I printed a return label from Amazon on the internet, The UPS store I went to said that I would have to pay a shipping charge of about 11 dollars to send it back. Amazon sent me a replacement quickly before they received the broken machine, but I never received a credit for the postage I had to pay for the defective one.
The new one works well, although I find that the upper plate does not heat as well as the lower one and I have to turn the item over to complete the cooking evenly on both sides.

The grill works great! Reduces the fat content of burgers and other fatty foods. Quickly cooks food evenly without charring. The removable non-stick grilling decks are the big improvement over the previous generation Foreman grill. This feature is a MUST! Cleaning the old style, non-removable decks was a nightmare.
Carefull when grilling chicken or turkey with this grill. The loss of fat content makes chicken and turkey very dry. Suggest adding a watery sauce to the dish to help. Otherwise it is difficult to swallow. Burgers are fine.

I purchased this Foreman grill several months ago and am still thrilled with it. I had a smaller model without the removable plates that I destroyed by getting water inside while cleaning so I was a little leary of purchasing another. The removable plates make a huge difference though and I find that I still use this at least every other day. It's so versatile as it heats up fast and the plates practically clean themselves. The size is perfect for 2 large chicken breasts or 3 large burgers. I couldn't live without my Foreman grill!Customer Review: Good Grill for Quick Cooking

We've used the grill for pork loins, turkey burgers and thick steaks. Everything cooked as fast as on the grill or under the broiler. Easy set-up and clean-up are the key features. The non-stick, removable grill plates are a breeze to clean.
QC on the appearance isn't the best. Ours had two chips in the paint that had obviously been touched up. This didn't affect the performance.
The one performance drawback is that the top grill doesn't seen to stay as hot as the bottom. Allow for ample pre-heating.

I got this grill on account of the removable plates. I had the original, single grill for several years and loved it in spite of the hassle of cleaning it. The removable plates are great since I can quickly rinse off and use the neat grill scrubber that came with it. Plus, being able to put the plates in the dishwasher is a plus. The grilling is as quick as the other. The catches are somewhat flimsy as they are made of plastic. I don't know how well these will hold up in the long term. But, for quick grilling, this grill is great!
