Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of George Foreman GRP4 Next Grilleration 72 Square Inch White Removable Plate GrillCustomer Review: So Happy! Summary: 5 Stars
Arrived sooner than expected! And it's the holidays! Product arrived in expected condition (brand new). I'm very happy that I no longer have to dread cleaning this Georgie like my old one. And it's bigger too! I highly recommend this product as I would any George Foreman (removable) Grill.
--Pros:
Grills do remove, so it's easy clean up and dishwasher safe.
Small and compact for single living.
Does get hot enough to cook chicken/beef.
--Cons:
Only came with one spatula and grease collector.
Highly recommended! If you don't feel like turning on your oven to cook chicken/beef or back some sliced veggies, you're in luck! And you don't have to wait so long for it to get hot.
Customer Review: Gets the job done Summary: 4 Stars
I read a lot of reviews on Amazon before buying this unit. My first time using it went fine. I cooked up some thick chicken breasts, and they came out really juicy and cooked through.
I know some of you are looking to sear things, but I don't believe this unit gets hot enough to do that. It does cook really, really hot, but you'll put brown grill marks across your chicken, not black.
People say the Teflon comes off really easy, especially when you use any metal utensils. So when you can, use a paper towel or dish cloth to wash the grill plates.
If you're looking for a convenient way to grill up meats and vegetables, then I'd say go for it. It will definitely grill your food well.
Customer Review: A GRILL FOR FOLKS WHO LOVE GOOD, HEALTHY FOOD AND EASY CLEAN-UP Summary: 5 Stars
I bought the black one. But it's the same grill. I had the tiny grill. It was a job to clean. While this grill takes a bit longer to heat up, it is a snap to clean.
You just easily take the two grill plates out when they're cool. Put them in hot water and soap and they wash right up in seconds. Of course, you need to spray some olive oil or your choice of oil on the plates.
They snap out quickly and pop back in with no trouble at all.
There is lots of room. Enough room for two to four pieces of meat or meat and veggies. You can put a complete meal on the grill.
This is a big step up in the Foreman line.
Highly recommended.
Customer Review: Best Foreman Grill I've owned, but still too small Summary: 4 Stars
We already owned a George Foreman grill, but the removeable plates on this one made it much more attractive to us, so I ordered this one. We absolutely love it. Removing the plates and putting them in the dishwasher is so much easier than trying to clean them without removing them. We haven't used the old one since we received this one. The only problem I have with this product is that it says you can do 4 burgers at once, but those would have to be some pretty small burgers. I prefer to do 2 at a time, after spraying it with high-temperature Pam for grilling. I can put 3 on it, but they are very croweded. If you don't need to do a whole lot of burgers, this is the way to go.
Customer Review: Great Grill for the indoors Summary: 5 Stars
I have had this grill since it first came out. I love it use it several times a week. I cook all types of food on it even with sauces - chicken, pork chops, burgers, shrimp, and veggies. I have never had any problems with it. After about 6 years, I have finally scratched my grill plates and need to replace them.. but it is cheaper to purchase a new grill. The grill still cooks as well as the first time I used it. I own several of the George Foreman grills and this one gets the most use in my house. I love that the plates are removable and can be put in the dishwasher for a better clean.
I would recommend this to anyone. I am even given one as a gift this year.
