Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of George Foreman GR20WHT XL Grill

Customer Review: Say goodbye to dry chicken breast!
Summary: 5 Stars

The George Foreman Grill is the ONLY way to cook boneless, skinless chicken breast! The chicken is perfectly cooked and unbelievably juicy in just 4 minutes. You can brush on your favorite grill sauce, marinade or barbecue sauce first for extra flavor. The closed heating system maximizes the juiciness and tenderness of boneless skinless chicken. Thus, you can have a satisfying grilled chicken dish without the fat. The only chicken I've ever had that was as juicy as this was deep fried. Say goodbye to dry chicken! The GF Grill is a busy cook's best friend. Keep it on the kitchen counter so you can use it ALL the time!

Customer Review: If your on a diet, you have to get the G.Foreman Grill
Summary: 5 Stars

I usually write review's on albums and movies, but I love the Geroge Foreman Grill so much,I want everyone to have this product. You could take a Steak right out of the freezer, put it on this Grill, and in ten mins.you have a great tasting meal.I like to put Italian dressing on my steak first, then let if sit for an hour. This makes the steak fantastic. Also, wait untill the red light goes out before you cook your meat. Also, try and clean the Grill with a wet towel while its still alittle hot.It makes it so much easier to clean up.I've always loved Steak, but felt guilty about all the fat,now I fill I'm eating a healty meal.

Customer Review: Works like something designed by a punchy ex-boxer.
Summary: 2 Stars

I just got this today and used it to good chicken breast. The cooking was great but... This may have actually been designed by George Foreman, himself. It certainly wasn't designed by an electrical engineer! There is no on/off switch! You "turn it off" by unplugging it, but this produces sparks. Unbelievable that this got UL approval. I solved the problem by first plugging it into a timer with an on/off switch. Or, if you have a strip plug with an on/off switch, this would also work. But it's a stupid work-around. Maybe other models have solved this problem. But besides fireworks problem, it also is not that easy to clean.

Customer Review: Son Makes Dinner
Summary: 4 Stars

When I received the George Foreman grill as gift, I chuckled because I thought of the less-than-sophisticated TV commercials. Just as I was about to return it, my son, who had never before prepared a meal, offered to make dinner on the grill. The meal, turkey burgers and grilled vegetables, was delicious and incredibly easy to prepare. In a few minutes, he grilled a plateful of crispy vegetables and in the next 3 minutes made juicy burgers. Afterwards, to my delight, he cleaned the grill with a moist paper towel. Even a novice in the kitchen can prepare a delicious and nutritious meal on this simple appliance.

Customer Review: May not do much fat-reducing, but a great product anyway
Summary: 4 Stars

I first saw this grill on an online review show, where they looked at various infomercial products. This one received some of the highest ratings. Mainly because it *does* grill the food nicely, gives it a good taste (somewhat like grilled, but not quite as good), is very easy to clean up (just wipe it down while still hot) and is fast and easy to use. However, don't assume that it really does reduce the fat much. Yes, you will see drippings draining off, and some of that is fat. But a lot of it is just water. Doesn't really reduce the fat anymore than most cooking methods. Other than that though, a very good product.
