The concept of this evolve model of the GF grill series is terrific. The execution is not up to standard. Opening or closing the grill lid causes the plates, any plates, to catch in the back making a clanking noise. Not just a little noise, but somethjng akin to clanking two pots together....definitely overshadows conversation or a party waiting nicely for their waffels, steak, muffins, whatever combination of plates -George Foreman GFP84WP Evolve Grill 84-Square Inch Waffle Plate Accessory Set foods you may be preparing. I do not recommend this appliance to anyone.
