Customer Review: One of kind only... not for pairs

I ordered these square stone beads in hopes that the colors of at least a few would be close enough to make pairs (for earrings).
All of these stones are different colors; they are often close, but none were close enough to look like matched pairs. The colors that I receives were not as vibrant as the picture protrayed; there were many of the light purple translucent beads and a few brownish colors, and only a few green or darker colors.
The sizes and shapes are irregular as well. Some edges are rounded off so to not even appear square. The pre-drilled holes are fairly large for beading purposes and were a little off-center in many of the beads.
If you just want accent beads in many colors, and perfect shape and size is not an issue, these seem a good buy. If you want to make pairs for earrings or such, you could buy several strands and hope you get similar colors, or look in person elsewhere.

A great way to get a varied selection of beads without having to purchase large quantities of each. Semi-precious gemstone beads on each strand may include any or all of the following: olive jade, sodalite, dyed purple serpentine, Amethyst, dyed green serpentine, unakite, yellow turquoise, stabilized turquoise, turquoise howlite, Rose Quartz, Cherry and Blueberry Quartz (glass), green spot agate, red aventurine, desert (picture) jasper, russian jade serpentine, various color jaspers. Temporarily strung. * Measurements: each bead is about 4x4x4mm in diameter. Holes are less than 1mm in diameter.Kitchen and Housewares
