I bought this, not for a nuclear attack but to look awesome in!
the rubber will hurt your hair, and the filter is expired the bag holds everything snugly.
** IF YOUR FILTER DATE IS AFTER THE 70'S YOU CAN BREATH THROUGH IT NO ASBESTOS**
mine was from 82 and I am still alive! The filter will not protect you against N.B.C's but im pretty sure that it can filter out smokey air and sawdust, you know small stuff, so it works for that.
** DO NOT USE THIS FOR A BONG SMOKING IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU AND YOU CAN DIE **

He shipped out the product fast. I really appreciate the quick service since I live in Northern California and I wanted to have every preparation in place, in case we saw clouds of radioactive gas or a spike in radiation come over from Japan. Or if an earthquake here brings it much closer to home. I haven't hooked up the canister, but I tried on the mask. It fits great. Like a rubber glove. I have a large head and the size is medium. I'm sure it would fit a large range of heads. It gets lots of laughs from everyone when I put it on. It's looks really cool. I was expecting the shipping to come a lot well, later. This product shipped in 3 days, which was very fast. The packaging was very well fit and wrapped, and there wasn't a scratch on it. Although, this mask was r-e-a-l-l-y small. It barely fit my 11 year old son. You have to learn how to put it on exactly on the right time, same counts for taking it off too because it can really hurt your hair. Overall, I am happy with this mask.
*Note*- Remember to take the rubber plug off the bottom of the filter before you use it. I was wondering why I felt like passing out and dying.

I purchased the mask as a costume piece and don't intend it to be used for anything practical, and comparing it to the North Full Face mask it's not going to work as well. The lenses fog up a bit when you breathe, and it's very difficult to speak to others. As well the rubber tends to make me sweat and it pulls my hair from time to time. All in all I'm loving the attention and looks I'm getting from friends and family, and definitely recommend this to anyone making a military or zombie apocalypse costume.Customer Review: Ready for war!

Great gas mask for the low price. Its pretty tight, but i don't care too much about comfort, especially knowing that it can save my life if there were a crisis to ever happen. I don't know what all the hype is about the green bag, mine came with loose threads... quality control is really bad in my opinion... for the bag. I bought the mask, not the bag....
