I received the Grosche Indigo glass kettle for Christmas and it's been a joy to use. I always used metal kettles in the past - waited for the whistle to blow when at boil and then having to deal with either rust, lime, or calcium deposits. This glass kettle allows me to see when the water is pre-boil and effusive with heat when you want it hot but not boiling. Also, with the infuser you're able to see when your tea has reached the right color. Light-weight and well crafted. Goes right into the dishwasher when you're ready for easy clean-up.
