Caveat emptor. This is an aftermarket filter, not a GE replacement. My bad, I realize; I should have read more carefully. However, the photo displayed is of the GE filter, not what is being sold. I can't vouch for the product quality either pro or con. I am rating this 1 star because of the deceptive photograph.

Aqua Fresh Water Filters are designed to meet or exceed the OEM filter that they replace. Each Aqua Fresh water filter is 100% pressure tested in the OEM receiver that the filter is designed to fit. Aqua Fresh is using advanced carbon block technology to bring you the very best water filtration.WF282 water filters remove the following contaminants:
- 99.30% of Lead at pH 6.5
- 99.90% of P-Dichlorobenzene
- 99.90% of Lead at pH 8.5
- 99.99% of Cysts
- 94.50% of Mercury at pH 6.5
- 98.70% of Carbofuran
- 96.60% of Mercury at pH 8.5
- 97.00% of Chlorine
- 99.92% of Asbestos
- 99.10% of Turbidity
- 89.60% of Benzene 97.60% of Particulates (Class 1 - This filter removes Class 1 particulates down to 0.52 microns)
