If your knives are really dull this product is an effective way of rendering them useable. If you are very fastidious about your blades you will want to go on to a good stone and strop after using the furi.

I am very pleased with the Furi knife sharpener. It has brought my old knives back to life. After a few swipes of the balde in the sharpener, I can easily cut a tomato into thin sclices, not to mention cooked meats.Customer Review: It works!

Was a bit skeptical, but the other rave reviews made me have to try it out for myself. and it works! sharpened my old dull knifes enough for me to cut tomatoes without crushing them! Definitely worth a try!
