My first review... and I've been an Amazon shopper for a lonnnng time! I'm not a professional, but I take my cooking seriously. I take my time w/ cutting up all veggies meticulously and really put my heart into it. I've ordered the Miracle Chef set twice, 'cos the knives really are pretty sharp, altho' they don't necessarily last as long as on is led to believe. So I bought this knife thinking it's a step up. I really wanted to like this knife. It wasn't particularly sharp out of the package, but I figured that's no big deal. So I sharpened it, and it was much better (though still not the "hot-knife-thro-butter" sharp). Unfortunately, it didn't last at this level of sharpness for more than a couple of days! Same thing happened again and again. It so frustrating to try and cut tomatoes w/ this knife... especially when they are a bit ripe! I'm back to my Miracle Chef set.
So, bottom line for me: It looks really good, but it doesn't hold it's sharpness like a good knife should. Disappointed...
