Heavy duty this scale means business and demands its space.This electronic kitchen scale features a contemporary design with an industrial-looking chrome and black finish and weighs ingredients for baking, portions for freezing or adhering to a special diet, pet food, baby food, and more. The scale is computer calibrated for the utmost accuracy and holds a maximum of 11 pounds or 5 kilograms. The unit has overload protection to keep the mechanism from breaking if too much weight is added. The digital display is easy to read and can be set to show weight measurements in either the metric or imperial system on the underside of the scale?s base. Measurements are calculated in increments of 0.1 ounce or 1 gram. For convenience, the scale has an add ?n weigh feature, which lets you place multiple foods or portions in the bowl while weighing each one individually.
