love frothed milk in coffee, and went thru 2 glass frothers in quick succession. bought the frieling because it's stainless steel and because the bottom (frothing) part is also stainless and mesh, vs. plastic and mesh, which i thought would be more durable.
it makes decent frothed milk - no complaints. it does take a bit of work, but so did my glass frother, so no complaints there either (i mean really - why complain about 15-20 seconds?)
the only thing i dislike is that the metal stem hits the edges of the hole in the top and makes frothing a noisy experience, plus the small space between the stem and the edges of the hole lets some milk out onto the lid. i don't know why it was designed like that - seems like it could have been done better.
however, i'm still happy with it because it does the job and i don't have to worry about continually replacing the glass beaker.
