Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Fred Cool Shooters Shot Glass MoldCustomer Review: Great product :D Summary: 4 Stars
The coolest thing about these is that you don't have to use water to make shot glasses, I have made them from hard candy, chocolate and gummy worms(BAD IDEA) and I am sure there are many other candies and materials you could melt down and make shot glasses out of these. And chocolate shot glasses are a HUGE hit, you just had some buttershots in your chocolate shot glass... Chomp chomp chomp.
Customer Review: Pretty neat alternative to regular shot glasses.. Summary: 4 Stars
I have to say these are pretty cool. Unless your going to do several shots in a row I recommend maybe doing only one shot and then pitching it into the sink...or another drink. In that case I would make sure you have plenty made up. Makes a great novelty gift. Also if Tequila is your thing it is easy to just dip the rim in salt and add tequila and enjoy!
Customer Review: Ok, but don't really work well. Summary: 3 Stars
Very fun, but when you fill with liquor, it jumps from air bubble to air bubble and leaks out fast. I found that if I filled the ice tray one fourth at a time, there were few enough bubbles that you could do a shot if you moved quickly. I still haven't tried jello shots, but intend to. Maybe one day I can figure out how to make ice with no bubbles.
Customer Review: Really Neat Idea! Summary: 4 Stars
These are a novel idea. They work well, but the only issue is they do not freeze totally flat on the bottom. This can be lessened with bottled water as this is mainly due to ions in the water causing it to freeze irregularly. This is not necessarily a defect in the product, but they could improve it by adding a "lid" that keeps the bottom even.
Customer Review: Very happy Summary: 5 Stars
I bought three sets of these - two I gave away as gifts, and kept one for myself. The gift receivers were quite amused by them but only one has tried it out so far - there was a little problem with trying to get it to freeze really well in his mini beer fridge's freezer, but is going to try a friend's deep freeze for better luck.
