These shot glass molds are definitely impressive and fun to use. They are great for taking shots of warm liquor, as they will (obviously) cool the shots before you take them. They are also neat to use for Jager bombs or something of the like. You can come up with some awesome bartending tricks with these shot glasses.
Unfortunately, they are extremely slippery after they've been out for a couple of minutes. I have actually had these shot glasses slip right out of my hand.

I tried it with water and the bottom just bulges up and will not freeze flat. This make a lopsided glass shots that won't even stand upright when your trying to pour something into it.
The main reason I bought this was to try to make gummy shot glasses. It turned out to be a very sticky mess even when frozen. They become too soft when you handle them causing your drink to spill.
Maybe I will find a good use some day but right now they are just junk.

This will last you a party or three, before you lose interest. The whole freezing thing can get in the way of your drinking. But otherwise it's pretty neat.
Suggestion: Fill it with hot watter and let it stand out for a while before finally freezing it. Hot watter contains less gas in mixture. The less gases you have mixed in with the water, the less bubbles will form upon freezing, this will give you stronger clearer ice that will last longer.

they may be the coolest thing you've seen all day, but they're still ice. you really can't complain that they melt after some use, that's not the mold's fault. it works fine, they come out just like the picture shows. they last for one maybe two uses before they start to melt on you. its a cheap and easy way to always have shot glasses on hand for the party, and not having to worry about drunks breaking them... just make sure you make enough!Customer Review: STINKS

Holy mother of God. The material this stuff is made out of smells like it is TOXIC, and when I took out the shotglasses for the first time, they were deformed. I smelled the shotglasses, not on purpose, but because the stench was overwhelming, and I threw them out. I then smelled the mold and the smell nearly made me vomit, it's like a mixture between gasoline and burning plastic. If you don't want vomit all over your kitchen don't get this.
