Don't waste your money on the Fox Run Bagel holder; it is flimsy and poorly designed. The lightweight wood box is unstable and difficult to hold when cutting a bagel. As an alternative I recommend the "Have Your Bagel" from Clever Concepts, a uniquely designed, sturdy, solid plastic device that slices bagels quickly, evenly and most importantly, safely.Customer Review: Does the job

For the price... you can't beat this. Just wish it was not quite as wide. My bagels are coming out not sliced evenly. The top part is thick and the bottom part is thin. But all in all I can work with this and it makes slicing bagels a breeze.Customer Review: Too Small
