The Amazon site states that the retail price for the FoodSaver Vac 300 is $119.99. Where do they get this nonsense? The Tilia site list the retail as $79.99 with a price cut to $59.99. I like Amazon but they do have some sleazy practices.Customer Review: Stopped working after about 15 uses.

This item works by suctioning the air of the bag, sensing when it has suctioned out enough air, then sealing the bag. After about 15 uses, the pressure sensor stopped working. So it would suction all the air out of the bag but never seal it.Customer Review: Couldn't Live Without It

I have owned two of these. The first one was a more expensive model that didn't last long.
This one was far less expensive, and works just as well, and has held up over time.
It's great for those of us who like to shop in bulk.

I just got one of these foodsavers and they work great! You can seal plastics back up after you open the bag which I really love like chips, bags of food in the freezer... etc.. and vacuum packing meats is going to be wonderful!Customer Review: Great buy

The FoodSaver Vac works great and is also fun to use. I love it. I don't throw away as much food any more. Bought one for a friend and he uses it a lot. Great for left overs, meat, cheese, herbs, etc.
