Customer Review: Don't Get This One Either!!! Move on to Greener Pastures!!

I bought this unit only less than 2 years ago.
Went to use it again only just last October. It had worked fine up until then.
Made a bag from the roll. Bag sealed fine. But after placing some meat in the bag and making an attempt to vacuum seal the bag, the heater strip had stopped working!! The unit would suck all the air out, but when it came to sealing the bag, the thing just kept on running as long as it was on!! I ended up turning the thing off and without the bag being sealed!!
I mean, who is kidding who here? Why are this co's vacuum bag sealer machines only lasting for a very short lifespan, and then failing so miserably and so prematurely?!!
Who is the brainchild there that thinks these machines are at all reliable in the first place? This is the third one from FoodSaver that crapped out on me!! This is totally nuts!! I've completely struck this brand off my list. I will NEVER trust this co's products ever again!! I've had it with them!!
