this is a better updated model.
the previous model's sealing strip was imperfect and ould make an incomplete seal...not repairable either.
beware of this fault. it is common.

Used this about 20 times before it broke. Pump still works fine so I took it apart. A small plastic piece where the tubing connects was sheered off. No replacement parts are available.Customer Review: FoodSaver Pro III

This is by far, the best foodsaver unit out there. I have had different models in the past, this is the best. Easy use, seals great. Highly recommend.
