When a handle broke on a fry pan that saw daily use for more than 25 years, I looked for a replacement. How disappointing to find that this Fitz-All handle is the only one on the market! I didn't realize how nice the original handle was until I replaced it with this lightweight, flimsy handle. But that's not the problem - the problem is that it broke after only a couple of months. I bought a second one, which lasted seven months, and now I've ordered a third one. These handles apparently just can't stand up to the heat - they start showing cracks and then break. When I get the new one, I plan to put it on a deeper pan to keep it farther from the heat source. Also, I don't use the deep pan very often, so maybe the handle will last longer.
If anyone finds a better alternative, please post a message! Meanwhile, I'll have to keep buying these cheap handles...
