Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Fiesta 67-1/4-Ounce Large Disk Pitcher, BlackCustomer Review: Great Addition! Summary: 5 Stars
I just LOVE this pitcher! I got it in Black. I have Scarlet Red dishes with Black and Scarlet Red serving and accent pieces. This is a beautiful style. Love the flat sides...retro looking. The spout is just a perfect size. It keeps lemon slices and ice cubes in your water not plopping out and splattering. I just added this to my Fiestaware. Everyone must have one of these. I just can't say enough about my Fiestaware and the wonderful experience I have had with Amazon. You just can't go wrong with either one.
Description of Fiesta 67-1/4-Ounce Large Disk Pitcher, BlackFiesta 67-1/4-Ounce Large Disk Pitcher manufactured by The Homer Laughlin China Company. America's largest domestic producer of dinnerware, and the sole manufacturer of all Fiesta dinnerware. All Fiesta pieces are Microwave safe, Oven-proof, Dishwasher safe, Freezer proof, Lead-Free, and Made in America with the implementation of many green practices. The very durable glaze is great for everyday use. Fiesta as a pattern has stood the test of time, and is typically passed down from one generation to the next. We have kept the pattern constant through the years so that you can count on us to be here when you decide to expand or change your collection. New pieces and colors are added every so often to keep things interesting. Currently, Fiesta is the most collected dinnerware in America. This large disk pitcher epitomizes the stylized, bold art deco design of Fiestaware, first introduced in 1936 and resuscitated in 1986 after a 13-year hiatus. The body of the pitcher is accented with Fiestaware's signature concentric rings and resembles a flattened ball or disk, with 1 catch: the top right corner of the disk is missing, replaced by a handle completing the perimeter of the round disk. Other design elements stand out to make this pitcher a unique find: the pouty lip, small oval pouring hole, and large square hole on the top of the pitcher are bold twists. Perfect for serving beverages such as water, juice, iced tea, or lemonade, the casual pitcher matches over 50 additional Fiestaware pieces in over 10 different colors, so you can mix and match pieces to create a personalized set. --Emily Wolf
