I started collecting fiesta slowly a few years ago, but when I got serious, I picked up a few place settings like this one. The 5-pieces are rarely in stores like the 4 piece settings are, but I think they're worth ordering online. I like having a tea-cup and saucer vs the circle-handled mug. I don't often use the teacups (except for on days when I'm feeling like a little moderation in my ice-cream consumption) but the saucers get used all the time - bread & butter plate, prep plate, little snack, bagel in the morning. It's definitely worth the few extra bucks to go 5 vs 4.
I'm excited to begin sharing the love with my little sister (who expressed her interest in the dishes over Christmas) - a couple 5 piece settings are likely to wind up at her door for college graduation in the Spring. I can't think of a better way to welcome her to adult life than getting her a few sets of these fantastic dishes.
