I have two of these and use them for sauces or dressings that pour easily. Thick or chunky items don't always pour so well, but cream, herbed olive oil, au jus, etc. work well. These are good for meals where a sauceboat is too big or where you'd like to have more sauce containers readily available to your guests rather than waiting for the gravy boat to get passed around and around so often.Customer Review: the ideal cream pitcher

It's attractive, and it comes in several colors. The design is excellent because it has a stable base and the milk or cream does not spill and splash when you pour it. You have optimal control of the amount you want.
