Customer Review: Not Just for Looks!

I held off on getting one of these for a long time because--notwithstanding the fact that the full-sized disk pitcher is a true and useful classic--this small version just seemed cloyingly cute. I've been surprised, however, how often it gets used. When you don't want to clutter your table with the bottles of salad dressing or maple syrup straight from the fridge, serve those items in one of these (or put one at each person's place, and watch their reaction--people actually have fun using these). You can also use it to serve a little extra au jus, use it with chocolate syrup at dessert, and of course there's always the cream thing. Wouldn't have thought, but this turned out to be functional and fun tableware after all. Get several!

All Fiesta pieces are Microwave safe, Oven-proof, Dishwasher safe, Freezerproof, Lead-Free, and Made in America with the implementation of many green practices. The very durable glaze is great for everyday use. Fiesta as a pattern has stood the test of time, and is typically passed down from one generation to the next. We have kept the pattern constant through the years so that you can count on us to be here when you decide to expand or change your collection. New pieces and colors are added every so often to keep things interesting. Currently, Fiesta is the most collected dinnerware in America.This minidisk pitcher holds 4 3/4 ounces and epitomizes the stylized, bold art deco design of Fiestaware, first introduced in 1936 and resuscitated in 1986 after a 13-year hiatus. The body of the pitcher is accented with Fiestaware's signature concentric rings and resembles a flattened ball or disk, with one catch: the top right corner of the disk is missing, replaced by a handle completing the perimeter of the round disk. Other design elements stand out to make this pitcher a unique find: the pouty lip, small oval pouring hole, and square hole on the top of the pitcher are bold twists.
