Customer Review: Poor Quality

I ordered a 4 place set that was offered through my "Gold Box" a few months ago. I loved the colors of Fiestaware and decided I would get more dishes and mix and match the colors festively. When I began looking through the colors, I read some reviews that the darker colors scratch easily. I checked my own beautiful new dishes and sure enough scratches all over them. These dishes have not been used very much. No one likes to do the dishes in my family so we use paper plates most of the time. The circle on the bottom of each dish is unglazed and it leaves the plate under it covered with white very unattractive scratches. This is not a small easily overlooked problem and I am sure that it shows up with the light color dishes eventually.Additionally because these dishes are very thick they take up a lot of room in your cupboard. They are also heavy. It is not easy to carry a pile of them to the table or sink. I could live with the size and weight, but the unglazed botom and scratching is a fatal flaw. My Advice: DON'T BUY THESE DISHES.
