Customer Review: Fantastic product, incredible delivery

I could not be happier with these, plus the delivery time exceeded all my expectations. I ordered two sets on the Sunday before Christmas, hoping, but not expecting, for them to be delivered before Christmas. I almost went ahead and sprang for expedited delivery, but I just couldn't justify spending the extra $60 when my purchase qualified for free shipping. To my surprise, I received the packages on WEDNESDAY! They were very well packed, and not a single piece was damaged in any way.
The quality of the dinnerware does not dissapoint, either. The color is gorgeous, and exactly what I wanted. Our previous set of dinnerware, although it cost far more than the Fiesta, was a nightmare; it got dangerously hot in the microwave, would leave a ring if set down on wood furniture, and would chip if you so much as looked at it. The Fiesta Ware stays cool even after five minutes in the microwave, leaves NO marks on my furniture, and has proven to be incredibly chip-resistant.
I am totally sold on this product (can you tell?), and plan on purchasing many, many more pieces of Fiesta Ware in the future.

Fiesta is all oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe, and the vitrification process makes our dishes chip resistant. This durable dinnerware stands up to everyday wear and tear beautifully. This gorgeous pattern has stood the test of time. Unlike other dinnerware patterns where the pattern may discontinue, the Fiesta pattern stays constant. Over time our colors may change, but the pattern stays the same.Classic in design with a simple pattern of concentric rings, this Fiesta dinnerware set looks timeless on any table. The set includes four of each of the following: 10-1/2-inch dinner plate; 7-1/4-inch salad plate; 7-inch bowl; and 10-ounce mug. Ideal for cereal and soup, the bowl is shallow, only 1-3/4 inches high, and the straight-sided mug features a round handle and slightly flared lip. As responsible members of the business community Fiesta is dedicated to the safety of their customers, the preservation of natural resources, and a reduced environmental impact. They pledge to continue to make a safe and reusable product free of harmful materials such as lead. Their consideration for their customer's safety is a long standing commitment, with the removal of lead from select pieces of their line in 1986, to the complete removal of lead in all products since 1992.
Fiesta remains vigilant in the pursuit of innovation to reduce their carbon footprint on the global landscape. By rerouting waste kiln heat to other processes, they are able to eliminate the usage of enough gas annually to heat nearly 1,000 homes for an entire winter. Fiesta has also implemented a clay reclamation system which blends back waste clay into their clay formulation at a rate of 2 tons per day. In addition, 99% of all products are made in the USA, cutting the need for overseas shipments.
Fiesta pledges to reduce their amount of resource consumption, recycle what they use, and eliminate the use of natural resources when possible. In 2007, a review of their packaging allowed for unnecessary cardboard to be removed--this improvement cut their cardboard usage by 17 tons over the course of a year. In addition to the reduction of the cardboard that is used, all waste cardboard is recycled, and any new material they purchase has a minimum of 39% recycled paper content. When innovating, Fiesta is mindful of the waste generated in upgrading their facility. In 2006, Fiesta upgraded wastewater treatment processes, and was able to reclaim an additional 1.2 million pounds of clear glaze, which previously would have been discarded. In 2007, they recycled over 200,000 pounds of steel, cardboard, and glass, and implemented a paperless order confirmation system, saving over half a million sheets of paper in the course of 1 year.
