Yes... It's true! My boyfriend and I got some hand-me-down Fiesta from our parents and we have been adding to it for about 2 years. We have at least 10 colors of Fiesta and everyone always complements on how cute our dishes are! Growing up using Fiesta I know the quality of it is great, because as kids my brother and I never broke anything! I once dropped a dinner plate when I was unpacking the dishwasher and I chipped the tile floor, not the plate. Unbelievable, but true!
As a warning, I would like to add that some colors show utensil marks more then others. Sunflower, Cobalt, Peach (I don't think this color is still made) and Black seems to show the most wear. Tangerine, Evergreen and White, not as much, but some. My favorite colors are Plum and Peacock. Everything you eat off of these plates just looks so good!
