Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Feliway 48-Milliliter Plug-In Refills, 6 RefillsCustomer Review: a solution Summary: 5 Stars
Finally, something that works! My neutered male cat started spraying after developing an eye infection that I was treating. However, after the eye problem cleared up, the spraying continued. I was at the end of my rope and considering giving him away to a couple who said they would take him but as an outside only cat. I replaced an antique hutch, got new carpeting, and tried everything to get rid of the smell and stop his bad habits. After researching on the internet, I stumbled across the feliway diffusers. He now has had only a few reocurrances (once when the bottle was empty) and as a welcome side efeect has also become more friendly. I would highly recommend this product and am so glad that I found it!
Customer Review: This product doesn't seem to be working for my cats Summary: 3 Stars
I have two fairly high strung cats that jump at any quick movement or noise. One of them has been using the carpet as a litterbox. I bought these with the hope that it would calm them down and see if the marking would stop. It's been a little over month and I am using 2 at a time around the carpet marking area. Unfortunately, I have not really seen a difference in the behavior of my cats. I'm giving this 3 stars because I can't say the product doesn't work, but it's not with my cats. I am going to continue using it for the next 2 months until it runs out to see if it works over more time. If anyone has any solutions to my problem, please feel free to comment to my review. I'm getting deperate.
Customer Review: Not convinced Summary: 1 Stars
I have four older cats (all spayed and neutered as kittens), which we've moved with multiple times. Every time we move, spraying ensues. Inevitably, we get desperate, and buy these things (cause cat piss sucks and you'll try anything to make it stop). I have never seen any evidence that these help. I realize I'm going against the grain here, with hundreds of positive reviews, but I stand by my extensive experience with these things. I understand why people want them to work (man do I want them to work!), but they just didn't for me.
That being said, if I were you, and my cat was pissing on my stuff, I'd take a shot at these. I just thought someone should be the grain of salt.
Customer Review: THREE "PAWS UP" FOR FOR FELIWAY COMFORT ZONE Summary: 5 Stars
Last fall, I rescued a stray female cat and brough her into my home with two resident male cats. After months of hissing and growling, I thought the boys would never accept Chickpea and began thinking I needed to find her a new home. As a last-ditch solution, I bought two Feliway Comfort Zone plug-in units. Within just a few days, I noticed a calm coming over the household. After the first month, it was obvious a truce had been called. And now, four months into my Feliway "experiment", Spenser, Pippin, and Chickpea live in harmony, share food and beds, and play together. As a side benefit, the furniture scratching has been reduced to a minimum. I highly recommend Feliway.
Customer Review: It really works Summary: 5 Stars
Our five cats got along until my husband rescued a sick and close to death kitten in October. After isolating him for several weeks while he got well, I gradually introduced the kitten to the rest of them....using all the recommended methods for introducing new cats. It didn't work. They just couldn't get used to him; he was much too aggressively playful for them. At the suggestion of our vet I tried Feliway. The change was quick and remarkable. Fights are not happening as much, less yowling, no more urinating outside the litter boxes. It still isn't 100% loveland, but they are starting to play together, sleep together and groom each other. I use both the diffuser and the spray.
