I chose this particular tart pan mainly because it is anodized aluminum in the size/shape I wanted. I am tired of the nonstick coatings always coming off and also aluminum conducts heat very well. I have not had this one long enough to tell how well it will hold up over the long haul. So far, it is just what I wanted and seems to be well made. It is very small, which is not a problem, but you may need more than one for most recipes.
