This pasta cooker is terrific! Cooks pasta to my liking and actually does a better job of cooking the pasta all the way through versus my old stock pot. Takes about 15 minutes total vs. 45 for the old stock pot. It has been a Godsend. It saves me time. I have made everything from sunday pasta to pasta salad with macaroni and it works very well. Best product I have bought in a long time... The cookbook is very helpful, you can also cook veggies, rice and make mashed potatoes with the recipes in the cookbook. This has also given my meals more variety since it does not take me as long to make them as it traditionally would.
