I bought this to weigh hops for home brewing. But for the purpose, it's too small. I have to jerry-rig a platform so I can put a container on top to hold my hops. Then, the container gets in the way of the display.
If you're looking for a scale for weighing items that are not dense, (like food, etc) you'll be better served getting something different. But if you're weighing small, dense items this should work pretty well for you.
