I am not going to remove my statements regarding the items below, but I am revising my review because the company actually contacted me after the review was left and made a full refund. They explained that this was their first report of such problems with these product. I have never used their products before so I can not comment past my single use. I will say that there is a possibility that the rusting could have been caused by something I did. That being said, this company has outstanding customer service and you should have full faith that if you purchase any of their products, they will back them 100%. I was shocked!
I looked all over the internet for cookie cutters to use to cut fondant for my daughters fashion birthday cake. I have no issue with the purchase or shipping of this item. I used the items in the process of decorating a cake, dropped them into warm soapy water to allow the dried icing to soften and finally washed and set them out 1.5hrs later. By then, the rust was very evident in every crevice of the cookie cutters making them useless to use again without scrubbing with steel wool first.
Also, they are made of light weight metal and loose their shape easily.
My overall opinion is that they worked for what I wanted when I needed it, but will never be used again. When purchasing, please understand that the money you are spending is on a single use item.
