I truly believe at this point that if you do not spend a good amount of money on a decent grinder set, you will be sorely disappointed. This thing is shoddily constructed; the parts are loose fitting and brittle, in fact, it arrived with the salt part unscrewed and salt spilled all over the box. Most egregiously, "grinding" the salt and pepper just results in slightly smaller (but still huge) chunks of pepper and salt tumbling onto my meal. I suppose this is better than no salt/pepper, but I am going back to the traditional pre-ground salt and pepper.
